Docs Use from an AI assistant

Use BlazeHive from your AI assistant

Add one URL to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or another MCP app. Sign in to BlazeHive, click Approve, and ask about your websites in plain words.

MCP server URL

https://mcp.blazehive.io/mcp

Enter it exactly, including /mcp. Other addresses fail.

  • No API key, client ID or secret
  • You sign in with your BlazeHive account
  • Works with your plan and your permissions
Added BlazeHive with the old api.blazehive.io address? The old address api.blazehive.io/mcp no longer works. Remove the connector and add it again with the URL above.
You need a BlazeHive account with at least one website set up in the app.

Connect your app

Pick your app. Every app opens the same BlazeHive approval page.

Claude (web, Desktop and mobile)

  1. Step 1

    Add a custom connector

    In your AI app

    In Claude, open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.

  2. Step 2

    Paste the URL

    https://mcp.blazehive.io/mcp

    Leave the client ID and secret empty.

  3. Step 3

    Approve

    In BlazeHive

    Claude opens BlazeHive. Check that the page says "Sends you back to Claude (claude.ai)", then click Approve.

  4. Step 4

    Check it works

    Ask "Which websites do I have in BlazeHive, and what's the status of each?" The BlazeHive dashboard shows inside the chat.

ChatGPT

BlazeHive is not in the ChatGPT app directory yet. Until it is, add it in developer mode.
  1. Step 1

    Turn on developer mode

    In your AI app

    In ChatGPT settings, turn on Developer mode.

  2. Step 2

    Add BlazeHive

    Go to chatgpt.com/plugins, select +, paste the URL, name it BlazeHive and create it.

    https://mcp.blazehive.io/mcp
  3. Step 3

    Sign in and approve

    In BlazeHive

    Sign in to BlazeHive in the window ChatGPT opens, then click Approve. The page says "Sends you back to ChatGPT (chatgpt.com)".

  4. Step 4

    Use it in a chat

    In a new chat, add BlazeHive from + → More.

If BlazeHive's tools change, open the connection at chatgpt.com/plugins and select Refresh.

To check it works, ask "Which websites do I have in BlazeHive, and what's the status of each?"

Claude Code

Run this in your terminal:

Terminal
claude mcp add --transport http blazehive https://mcp.blazehive.io/mcp

Then, inside Claude Code, run /mcp and authenticate BlazeHive. The approval page says "An app on this computer (localhost:PORT)". Click Approve.

To check it works, ask "Which websites do I have in BlazeHive, and what's the status of each?"

Cursor

Add this to ~/.cursor/mcp.json:

~/.cursor/mcp.json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "blazehive": {
      "url": "https://mcp.blazehive.io/mcp"
    }
  }
}

When Cursor opens the BlazeHive approval page, click Approve. The page says "The Cursor app on this computer" or "An app on this computer".

To check it works, ask "Which websites do I have in BlazeHive, and what's the status of each?"

Other apps

These apps also work with BlazeHive: VS Code (GitHub Copilot), OpenAI Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, Zed and Goose. Add BlazeHive as a remote MCP server over HTTP with this URL. Leave any client ID and secret empty, then click Approve when the BlazeHive page opens.

https://mcp.blazehive.io/mcp
Not supported yet. Windsurf, Mistral Le Chat and Perplexity can't connect yet. For them the approval page shows only Deny.

To check it works, ask "Which websites do I have in BlazeHive, and what's the status of each?"

The approval screen

Every app sends you to the same page on app.blazehive.io.

  1. Step 1

    Sign in if asked

    Password, Google and magic-link sign-in all bring you back to the approval page.

  2. Step 2

    Check the page

    The page is titled "Connect your app to BlazeHive". Check that Signed in as shows your BlazeHive email and Sends you back to names the app you came from.

  3. Step 3

    Click Approve

    Click Approve. The page shows "Returning you to the app…" and sends you back. Click Deny if you didn't start the request.

  • Approving lets the app read and change data in every project you have access to, with your permissions.
  • The app stays connected. It refreshes its sign-in on its own.
  • Note the Client ID. Support needs it if you ask them to revoke the app.
  • If only Deny shows, the app isn't supported.
